BLUELAN LUT

BlueLan is one of my two go-to looks. It pushes rich blues into the shadows, keeps skin warm and glowing, and adds the kind of contrast that lifts your subject off the background without looking overcooked.

I built it on real shoots around London, with bridges, glass, concrete and summer light, so it holds up on the footage you actually film.

Works with any log footage

BlueLan works with footage from any camera that shoots log, including Sony S-Log, Panasonic V-Log, Canon C-Log, Fujifilm F-Log, DJI D-Log and Apple Log. Convert your clip to Rec.709 first with a colour space transform or your camera's conversion LUT, then apply BlueLan and set the intensity to taste.
